Getting There

This week has been pretty manic. I’ve been trying to approve the plates section of the book, together with compiling the index.

I had somewhat underestimated just how time consuming indexing was, but now it’s done, I amazed that over three hundred individual soldiers are mentioned in the book. That’s a third of the fighting strength of the Battalion. It’s all been submitted to the publisher and I’m now awaiting the final draft for checking before it goes to print. Exciting times!
